
The School’s library has a capacity of 450 seats. It is managed by a team of professional specialists ensuring the smooth operation of all the different stages of the entire documentary chain. Its mission is to support and assist teaching and research activities.
The library’s documentary collection of 19,031 volumes (books, theses, periodicals, reports, CD-ROMs, DVDs, videos, slides…) for more than 1,400 registered students is multidisciplinary, including various types of documents intended for users (researchers, students, teachers, and teacher-researchers). It welcomes external readers (researchers, students, and veterinarians).
The ENSV library also offers rich documentation in electronic form in the field of veterinary sciences and related fields. Access to these resources is provided thru the documentary portal of the National Online Documentation System (SNDL), online databases Science Direct, Medline With full text, Medical Smart Image, Proquest.
It is also equipped with an electronic resource system providing access to various databases: Preclinical and clinical since 2005, Periodicals from 1952 to 2006, and Theses and dissertations. Students have the opportunity to conduct their bibliographic research in the computer room, equipped with computers connected to the internet network.
Scientific documents can be consulted: from Sunday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
The library works in a friendly environment to get closer to its readers thru the organization of various activities: training seminars, scientific and cultural events, open days, screenings of scientific films. The library produces documents such as: Reader’s Guide and the Directory of Teacher-Researchers.
