Entrepreneurship Development Center – CDE-ENSV
Overview
The Entrepreneurship Development Center (CDE) of the National Higher Veterinary School (ENSV) was established as part of a national governmental initiative aimed at promoting entrepreneurship within higher education institutions.
The CDE-ENSV provides a structured and supportive environment for students with innovative ideas and entrepreneurial ambitions, enabling them to transform their projects into viable and sustainable micro-enterprises.
Founded in December 2023, the Center was officially inaugurated in May 2024 by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Mission and Objectives
The CDE-ENSV is committed to fostering an entrepreneurial culture within ENSV through the following core missions:
Entrepreneurship Awareness: Introducing students to entrepreneurial thinking and guiding them through the early stages of project development.
Capacity Building and Training: Delivering specialized training in entrepreneurship fundamentals, strategic planning, and operational management.
Support for Financing: Assisting student entrepreneurs in accessing financial support through partnerships with NESDA and national banking institutions.
Promotion of Entrepreneurship: Organizing events and initiatives that encourage innovation and entrepreneurial engagement within the ENSV community.
Training Program
The CDE-ENSV offers a structured training program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to successfully launch and manage a micro-enterprise.
Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship
This module introduces the essential concepts of entrepreneurship, including business creation processes, sustainable business models, basic management principles, and the development of key personal and professional skills.
Strategic Planning and Business Development
Students learn how to analyze business environments, define strategic objectives, and design effective strategies to ensure long-term business performance.
Operational and Resource Management
This module focuses on the efficient management of operations and resources, emphasizing planning, performance monitoring, and continuous process improvement.
Business Creation and Legal Framework
Participants are introduced to the legal aspects of business creation, including the choice of legal structure, registration procedures, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property considerations.
Growth Strategies, Innovation, and Value Creation
This module explores sustainable growth strategies, innovation-driven development, marketing approaches, and the creation of added value for customers.
Pathway to Creating a Micro-Enterprise
Students wishing to develop a micro-enterprise project are guided through a structured process:
Online Registration: Submission of the project idea through the official CDE platform Registration
Project Evaluation: Presentation of the project before a multidisciplinary selection committee.
Training Phase: Participation in a 21-day training program combining theory and practical workshops.
Project File Preparation: Compilation and submission of the complete project file to NESDA.
Final Evaluation and Funding: Assessment by the Selection, Validation, and Financing Committee (CSVF), followed by access to funding and post-creation support upon approval.
